A SIMPLE GREEN SMOOTHIE RECIPE
2 CUPS OF WATER/COCONUT WATER
2 CUPS OF CHOPPED GREENS*
1 STALK CELERY, CHOPPED
1 6-INCH CUCUMBER, CHOPPED
1- 2 CUPS CHOPPED FRUIT- fresh or frozen
1 TABLESPOON FLAXSEED OR CHIA SEED
OPTIONAL: NUTS, AVOCADO, SPICES
BLEND WELL
ADD MORE WATER TO YOUR LIKING. BLEND AGAIN
STIR IN 1 TABLESPOON LEMON OR LIME JUICE
ENJOY!
*Greens include: Bok choy, Spinach, Kale, Cabbage, Lettuce, Watercress, Broccoli and more. Remove hard stems before use.
BEFORE CHOPPING, SOAK YOUR FRUIT AND VEGETABLES IN BAKING SODA & WATER FOR 5-15 MINUTES. THEN RINSE IN PLAIN WATER.
